Use of the site
Ghost Detector Lab is free to use for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may use the instruments, read the written material, and share links to any of it.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. The instruments are entertainment software, not measurement equipment, and are not fit for any scientific, medical, safety or professional purpose. Readings may be wrong, and browser sensor access varies enormously between devices.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for anything arising out of your use of this site — including anything you decide to do as a result of a reading. Please read the disclaimer, which is the important document.
Your own safety
You are responsible for where you take your phone. Do not trespass, do not enter unsafe structures, and do not use this site while driving or anywhere that requires your attention.
Content
The written material, the design, the instruments and the fictional framing are ours. You are welcome to quote or screenshot with attribution and a link. Please do not republish the case files or field notes wholesale.
Product names and trademarks belonging to others are the property of their respective owners and are used, where they appear at all, descriptively.
Advertising and paid links
This site is intended to be supported by advertising and by commission on links to equipment recommended in the field notes. Advertisements are labelled, paid links are marked where they appear, and neither is permitted to influence what an instrument reports or what a guide recommends. How this site is paid for sets out the whole arrangement, and it is worth reading before you take a recommendation from us.
Advertisements are supplied by a third party. We do not choose the individual adverts, we do not endorse what is in them, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. Links to other sites are provided for your convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
